One day a week is kept for visits so the other four stay drawing days. When a Thursday fills, the next one opens.
What the two hours produce
Every wall, opening and ceiling height, plus the three nobody sends: radiator depth, door swing, and the drop from window to floor.
What we can see on the day, with the morning and evening shots requested from you afterwards. Light decides the palette more than taste does.
Piece by piece, honestly. Some things stay because you love them and some because replacing them is not worth the money.
And the answer: which package the room needs, a realistic furnishing budget, and whether it needs us at all. Two of the last ten visits ended with “spend it on the floor instead”, and both were refunded.
Before you ask for one
One hundred and forty of 142 rooms were drawn without a visit.
This exists for awkward rooms — odd angles, unclear services, a floor that may not survive — not for reassurance. If the room is ordinary, the questionnaire does the same job for nothing.
The $240 comes off the package price if you book a room within thirty days. Outside Portland everything above happens by email and costs nothing — we have drawn rooms in six other states that way.
