Longest wall, and the wall at right angles to it
Feet and inches. Ceiling height only if it is unusual.

If you cannot measure
Send the floor plan from your lease or listing
We can work from it, and the pack says so. If a measurement turns out wrong, photograph the tape against the wall and we redraw free, up to the day the pack ships.

Love the layout. Three things: the sofa is too pale for a house with a dog, the rug is over budget, and can the shelving go on the other wall so the window stays clear?

All three are fine. Sofa swapped to the olive weave — same frame, $180 cheaper, and it hides everything. Rug dropped to the 6×9 in the same wool, saves $290. Shelving moved: plan and elevations redrawn, and the lighting shifted with it so nothing casts across the window.
