Before you book
Can a room really be designed without a visit?
One hundred and forty-two times so far, in seven states. What a plan needs is measurements, photographs from the corners and an honest questionnaire — not a designer standing in the doorway.
What if I measure something wrong?
Photograph the tape against the wall and we redraw at no cost, up to the day the pack ships. No plan has left the studio on a number we doubted.
Which package do I need?
Empty room, full room. Mostly works, refresh. Cabinetry involved, kitchen. If you are unsure, send photographs and we will tell you — including when the answer is none of them.
Do you work outside Portland?
Thirty-eight of the 142 rooms were outside Oregon. The work is identical; only the walkthrough is Portland-only.
Can I see a real pack before I pay?
Yes. Ask and we send a full anonymised pack from a finished room, all six documents, before you commit to anything.
How soon can you start?
Intake opens monthly and closes at five rooms. The next window is stated in the footer of every page on this site.
While we draw
What counts as one revision round?
One reply with everything in it. Not six emails over four days, and not the same room in a different style — that is a new brief and we would say so.
Will it work with what I already own?
That is what the questionnaire is for. The average room keeps four pieces, and plans are built around them rather than around a catalogue.
Can I change the budget half way?
Yes. Drop it and the list rebuilds around the new number, usually inside a day. That is what a revision round is for.
Do you talk to my builder?
On a kitchen we coordinate two trade quotes from the schedule. On other rooms we do not manage trades, and the install guide is written so you do not need us to.
What if I hate the first draft?
It has happened twice. Both times we redrew from scratch inside the included rounds, and both rooms shipped on time.
Who actually draws it?
Nadia, on every room. Marcus takes cabinetry, Iris prices the list. There is no fourth person and no junior.
After the pack
Do I have to buy everything on the list?
No. Every line carries a cheaper alternate, and the plan names the four pieces that hold the room together if the budget stops early.
What happens if something sells out?
Email us. A replacement at the same price, checked in stock, comes back within two working days for ninety days after the pack.
What if a piece does not fit?
Send the measurement. If the plan was wrong we fix it and cover the return. If the room changed, we requote honestly.
Do you take commission from suppliers?
No. We hold trade accounts and pass the discount to you on the list — $18,400 of it last year.
Can you do the next room?
Yes, and the second room in the same order takes 15% off. Thirty-one per cent of clients come back inside a year.
