Taking rooms for October hello@alcovea.studio

Five people, and you hear from most of them.

Nadia at her desk in the studio

Founder · plans and palettes

Nadia Ferrant

Draws every plan and fixes every palette. Six years at a full-service firm before this, which is where the fixed price came from: she watched a living room cost eleven thousand dollars and four months, most of it meetings.

If you send photographs, Nadia is the person who opens them. She answers her own email, usually inside a day, and signs the pack.

Designer · kitchens and open plan

Marcus Feltrin

Takes anything with cabinetry in it and writes the schedules the trades quote from. A cabinetmaker once told him it was the clearest brief he had been handed all year, which is now the standard the schedules are held to.

He is also the one who says no to a layout that will not survive a real kitchen: the drawer that cannot open, the island eight inches too wide.

Sourcing · lists and lead times

Iris Delacroix

Prices every line, checks stock the morning a pack ships, and keeps the supplier lead times honest quarter by quarter. The alternate on each line is hers: a cheaper piece that still works in the plan, not a worse version of the same thing.

She is the reason a sold-out sofa becomes a replacement inside two working days rather than an apology.

Designer · small rooms and rentals

Sofia Marchetti

Takes everything under 120 square feet, which is harder than it sounds: one wrong width and a nursery has no floor left. She draws to the inch and names the two pieces that must be bought first.

Joined after four years designing rental fit-outs, so she knows what a deposit will and will not survive.

Drafting · plans and elevations

June Halvard

Turns Nadia’s sketches into the drawings that ship: plans at 1:50, elevations for every wall, and the dimension lines nobody notices until one is missing.

She also runs the redraws. If your measurement was wrong, June is the reason the corrected plan comes back the same day rather than the next week.

Who you hear from, and when

One thread, five names,no handovers.

  1. Days 1–7Nadia. Your photographs, the questionnaire, the plan and the palette.
  2. Days 6–12Iris. Pricing, stock, alternates and lead times, on the same thread.
  3. Kitchens onlyMarcus, from day two. Cabinetry, appliances and the trade quotes.
  4. Small roomsSofia, from day one, on anything under 120 square feet.
  5. Every redrawJune, usually the same day the corrected measurement lands.
  6. After the packWhoever answers first. All five read the thread; none of them will ask you to repeat yourself.

There is no sixth person, and no account manager at any point. If the studio ever grows one, this page will say so before the price does.
